It comes with Ubuntu 16.04 LTS installed with recovery partition to reinstall, and a tool to create bootable recovery USB/DVD. – Specifications are very good especially if performance is your priority, you can upgrade the RAM up to 32GB DDR4, even replace DVD drive with an SSD hard disk. – The Laptop is sold even much cheaper than Amazon.co.uk and international stores, unlike most other brands where their prices are much higher. – Dell provides the best support, by phone, online, up to date drivers, even you can find Windows drivers for this Ubuntu model. – Dell Laptops are very popular, and you can very easily find parts when needed. – Malware-free! from BIOS/UEFI malware, unlike other brands. – Elegant design.

This machine is a delightful offering from Dell at a great price. Full HD screen resolution. 16GB RAM installed, and expandable to 32GB, but you`d have to sacrifice the already installed two 8GB RAM modules. Ubuntu 16.04 comes pre-installed on the SDD drive and the machine boots up very quickly. Software installed on the SSD also starts up unusually quickly. The 2TB hard drive appears like any external hard drive, but this is a great way to organize data. The keyboard is good too. The only real drawback is the 100Mbit Ethernet, which some may regard as a bit slow. I personally don`t mind that too much. Great machine.
